Spring is coming!

Blue Heron's new Spring 2009 catalogue has just been printed, glossed and de-bossed. It lists all of our current titles and over 25 new ones for the new year. Design by Andy Prince and art direction by Pentagram, the cover image is taken from "Textile Designers at the Cutting Edge" published in February 2009.

We are pleased to announce that 'Custom Kicks: Personalized Footwear', by Kim Smits and Matthijs Maat of MAKI Design, has been highly commended under the Trade Illustrated category at the British Book Design and Production Awards 2008.

Adorn: New Jewellery Book Launch

Adorn: New Jewellery, Amanda Mansells inspirational new book was officially launched on Wednesday 12th November at the Contemporary Applied Arts. The evening was designed to reflect the exciting, cutting-edge work featured within the book, with guests participating in everything from a treasure hunt to win a copy of the book, to a viewing of the CAAs current Christmas exhibition Wish List. Hans Stofer (Head of Metalwork and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art) also said a few words and announced the three winners of the jewellery invitation competition.
