  • shopping promotions (covering discount codes, gift certificates, gift wrapping, sale items, etc.)
  • postage and packing (tracking, and customised options such as postage by weight or per item)
  • product pages (features include customer reviews, enquiry forms, wish lists, stock control)
  • customer login (enabling customers to view invoice status, update personal information, etc.)
  • VAT/tax settings (for creating VAT/tax tables, display products with or without VAT/tax, etc.)
  • administration (covering product and category management, customer help, sales reports, etc.)

Payment providers

Based on your needs and our experience of integrating sites with e-commerce gateways, we will recommend a suitable payment provider (e.g., PayPal, ProtX, SecPay and WorldPay). In many cases, we suggest WorldPay (part of the WorldDirect package) because it:

  • is easy to manage
  • provides an internet merchant account (IMA)
  • uses a secure payment processing system and advanced anti-fraud technologies
  • provides a choice of payment methods and accepts a wide range of currencies and credit / debit cards
  • provides online facilities for managing payment transactions and customising the service
  • supports multiple languages
